Kanina Card Day namin sa school meaning kukunin ng parents yung grades namin for the 2nd quarter. Wala lang, natuwa ako kasi 1st ulit ako sa class namin. Yeheeeey! Kaya eto, gumawa ako ng one-shot! Sana magustuhan niyo :)

The most remarkable aspects of a story have to do with patience and pursuit, in a relationship marked by their willingness to wait and their capacity for self-restraint.

Roland Richard Guaves Muller, had waited for exactly 9 years, 6 months and 26 days until he was able to see her walk down the aisle.
They met each other when they were 16 and both were in 1st year college. Ever since that day they had been friends and they had been inseperable - sitting next to each other, eating lunch at the same table, riding in his motorbike, and taking long walks at night.
People would ask, “Are you two an item?” but they would just shake their heads and say “We’re best friends!”
Other people would just walk up to them and state, “You look cute together. Why not give it a shot?” but they would just laugh at them and say “We’re better off as friends!”
But unknown to her, during night time, when Roland is alone his room, he would imagine them as a couple - holding hands, kissing, cuddling, and dating. Then, he would also remember her telling him that they’re good as friends, no heart breaks whatsoever. And there’s nothing left for Roland to do but to agree.
Oh how wrong he was.
It was not until a year later, they were 17, and boys would go after her and ask her out. There was a pang in Roland’s heart whenever he saw someone giving her letters, chocolates or flowers. He thought it was because he was not used with other boys by her side and it was just normal. But then, he would find relief whenever she turned the boys down. He was taught not to find happiness in someone’s heartbreak, but he would feel relieved because she was not yet taken by someone.
It was then that he started to notice how her hair shined in the sunlight, how her eyes lit up when they’re together, how her voice brighten his days, and how her smile made him feel funny in the insides.
He was inlove with her.
Loving his closest friend was not easy for Roland. He does not have the guts to ask her to dance during the christmas ball let alone confess his love. He was afraid to ruin their friendship - afraid to lose her because of his feelings. So he kept his love for her a secret.
Roland Richard Guaves Muller was a coward when it comes to love.

It took him 1 year, 1 month and 7 days to build up his courage in order to confess to her. It was in her 18th birthday when Roland led her to the balcony for a surprise birthday gift.
“We had been friends for years. I’m really blessed to have met someone as good as you.” His hands were sweating, and he was nervous but nonetheless continued his confession. “I had been by your side and I had seen you in your best and worst. We had gone through many things. I know you always tell me that we’re better off as friends but the thing is, I love you.”
She had been shocked. She told him she felt the same but she was not yet ready to commit in a relationship. She wanted to pioritize her studies, after all she had promised her parents that she won’t have a boyfriend until she finished college. “I love you but I can’t. Let’s remain friends. It’s good that way.”
Then she was shocked even more by Roland’s action. He hugged her and whisphered, “I’ll wait for you. Even if it takes forever, I’ll wait until you’re ready.”
So he waited. His confession did not affect their relationship, instead it made them grew closer. People would still think of them as a couple and they would just smile. They’re just waiting for the right time after all.

2 years, 7 months and 16 days had passed by again and this became one of the most memorable event in his life. In his left hand was his college diploma while in his right was her neatly manicured hand. Graduation day was also the day that they had been officially together. Roland felt nothing but sheer happiness. He hugged her so tight and kissed her cheek.
Like any other relationship, their’s was not an exemption. They had their share of misundertandings and quarrels but their love for each other conquered all of these and made their relationship last for 6 long wonderful years.

Roland had been brought back to reality when he heard the sound of the piano which signals that she is already here and the march will start soon.
She had been worth the wait. Roland never regreted waiting 9 years, 6 months and 26 days for her. After all, it’s too short compared to the days, months and years that he’s going to spend with her after this wedding ceremony - at the moment she says I DO.
